Why I’m Bringing Back More Wild at Heart Pieces
Share
If you’ve followed my work for a while, you’ll know that my Wild at Heart collection holds a really special place for me.
Those pieces felt bold, full of personality, and completely alive. They reminded me why I love painting animals in the first place—there’s something so powerful about capturing their presence, their spirit, and their individuality.
And lately… I’ve felt that pull again.
Over the past months, I’ve been working on portraits and exploring different subjects, which I’ve genuinely loved. But there’s been this constant feeling in the background—an idea that keeps popping into my head—that it might be time to bring animals back into focus again.
Not instead of everything else…
But alongside it.
Because if there’s one thing I truly believe as an artist, it’s that there are simply too many beautiful things in this world to paint just one type of subject forever.
A New Chapter Inspired by Animals
What feels exciting right now is the idea of building on what I started with Wild at Heart—but evolving it.
I’m feeling especially drawn to animals again, particularly those that feel connected to our surroundings—animals that feel familiar but still full of character.
Recently, I started painting a horse, and honestly… it felt like something my headspace had been waiting to do for a while. The moment I began, everything felt clear again.
That’s always a good sign.
It felt natural. Comfortable. Like coming back to something that had been quietly waiting.
And that’s when I knew—there will be more Wild at Heart pieces coming.
Making This Collection More Accessible
Another important decision I’ve made with this new wave of animal pieces is to make them more accessible.
I truly want more people to be able to own and collect my work.
There’s something incredibly special about owning original art—having something in your home that you connect with every day, something that becomes part of your space and your story.
So alongside the larger, bold animal pieces, I’ll also be introducing mini artworks.
Smaller pieces.
More accessible.
Still full of personality.
And within these minis, I’m excited to explore something that feels both playful and beautiful:
Big, beautiful animals… and the prettiest butterflies.
What’s Coming Next
This really does feel like the beginning of something.
More animals.
More colour.
More personality.
More pieces that feel bold, expressive, and completely Wild at Heart.
And honestly… I couldn’t be happier about it.
If you’ve loved my animal pieces in the past, I think you’re going to really enjoy what’s coming next.
And if you’re new here—this is a very exciting time to join the journey.
There are a lot more animals still to come.
